Description
This is an experiment in "cartoonish" color. Cities like Lock Haven are slowly disappearing and I wanted to capture it as though in a dream.
Built on a site long favored by pre-European peoples, Lock Haven began in 1833 as a timber town and a haven for loggers, boatmen, and other travelers on the river or the West Branch Canal.
This view shows the Clinton County Courthouse, Lock Haven (1869), Samuel Sloan and Addison Hutton, architects.
