Crabbers at Popotla

Hugh Smith

Photograph - Archival Print
Description
This hard working crabber was trying to sell us some of their freshly caught crab. These fishermen are hard workers and the work is hot, gritty and tough. This is in the fishing village of Popotla just south of Rosarito. This is part of a series I am doing on Popotla for a documentary.

Wonderful capture! L/F!
Hugh Smith replied:
Thank you, Meg. Popotla is only a few km down the road from our home in Baja and is a great place to visit. (Eating there is questionable)
